15. Sarah Burrini

Naš fantastičan program za 10. MSV (2025) nastavlja — ovaj put najavljujemo našu gošću Sarah Burrini!
Sarah, sa sjedištem u Kölnu, Njemačka, radi kao slobodna karikaturistica i ilustratorica. Radila je kao animatorica za njemačke dječje programe, uključujući “Die Sendung mit der Maus” (Predstava s mišem), objavila je “Silly & Cone” u njemačkom časopisu MAD i doprinijela je brojnim kratkim karikaturama u antologijama. Od 2008. do 2018. godine, pisala je i crtala mjesečni strip za dječji časopis “Benni”.
Od 2009. godine objavljuje vlastiti poluautobiografski web strip “Life Ain’t No Pony Ranch”, koji je osvojio nagradu “Sondermann” na Sajmu knjiga u Frankfurtu i nagradu “Peng” na Festivalu stripova u Münchenu. Dobila je nagradu Independent Comics (ICOM) 2014. godine za “posebno dostignuće ili publikaciju”, a na Festivalu stripova u Erlangenu 2018. godine osvojila je nagradu Max and Moritz za “Najbolji njemački strip” — a da ne zaboravimo, njen originalni lik “Nerd Girl” je predstavljala Comic Con Germany u Stuttgartu 2018. godine.
Kao pionirka web stripova, tražena je za panel diskusije, podcaste i mnoge druge medijske platformama — jednostavno nismo mogli propustiti ovu priliku da je ugostimo! 🎨🪄
 
Our fantastic lineup for the 10th MSV (2025) is continuing — this time, we’re announcing our guest Sarah Burrini!
Based in Cologne, Germany, Sarah works as a freelance cartoonist and illustrator. She worked as an animator for German children’s programs including “Die Sendung mit der Maus” (The Show with the Mouse), published “Silly & Cone” in German MAD magazine, and contributed a number of short cartoons to anthologies. From 2008 to 2018, she authored and drew the monthly comic for the children’s magazine “Benni.”
Since 2009, she has been publishing her own semi-autobiographical webcomic, “Life Ain’t No Pony Ranch,” which has won the “Sondermann award” at the Frankfurt Book Fair and the “Peng award” at the Munich Comics Festival. She received the Independent Comics (ICOM) Award in 2014 for “special achievement or publication,” and at the Erlangen Comics Festival in 2018, she took home the Max and Moritz Award for “Best German comic strip” — not to mention, her original character “Nerd Girl” presented Comic Con Germany in Stuttgart in 2018.
As a pioneer of webcomics, she is sought after for panel talks, podcasts and so many other media platforms — we simply couldn’t miss this opportunity of hosting her, as well! 🎨🪄
